2016 Sayville Ford Mustang Show
It was that time of year again, and I all most missed it! The local Ford dealership by me was hosting a Mustang show, as they've done for many years. With storm clouds overhead and the Formula 1 race over I decided to get over there and check it out. What I didn't realize is that it would be over in an hour!
When I got down there, I felt, as i'm sure many of you do, like a kid in a candy store. Sooo many Mustangs! I took a deep breath and started my walk (cause jumping up and down would've hurt my bad hip, and I would look like an idiot).
I had seen this car before in prior years, and I still like it. It's a nicely restored Mustang II in the awful brown color. It's a living piece of history, and that's what I love about it!
Then I turned my head and was "grabbed" by this beauty. I should have gotten an ice cream cone to hide the drool.
Speaking of drool, a GT350.
There were a few cars that had cool custom plates. Oh and the Roush looks pretty cool to.
The little details is sometimes what catches my eye.
Then there was MORE!
Carols 67 (above and below) was one of Many that stood out to me.
Another awesome stand out (above and below). Just wish I got interior pics.
Speaking of standouts, this guy made sure no one walked past his Mustang. I'm grateful the sun wasn't out, cause all that cool chrome would've burned out my eyes.
Even though i'm not a fan of the Fox body Mustangs, I did like his interior too.
Wait there are MORE Mustangs?!! (deep breath, keep cool)
This Mustang brightened up my day! No? Too corny?
Why don't they make interiors like this anymore?
If you enlarge this picture you'll see this proud owner had model of his Mustang on top of the engine. I almost missed it when I was walking by.
Awesome T-5 Mustang from West Germany. I loved the sign explaining the specs and history.
Could this be a Mach 1?
SOOO MANY MUSTANGS!
Wait! that's not a Mustang? Still a very cool lotus!
Custom FOP Mustang. Love the art work on the car. Don't drink and drive, or be a burnout, or do drugs. Just look at this cool Mustang.
Then there was this ex-Florida state trooper car. I think there might have been a local PD Mustang, but it didn't stand out.
Everywhere I turned there where Mustangs, so many Mustangs.
Sadly the show was almost over, and I had errands to run. Next year, i'll have to get down to the show earlier, and find out some of the amazing stories behind these Mustangs. If your on Long Island , you should try to check out the show. Oh and bring the kids, they have real pony rides for them.
