Memorial day drive review
So this past memorial day weekend, I went on a road trip from New York down to Delaware to visit family. Normally not a long trip, but, Memorial day weekend traffic was out. What could have been a less than legal quick drive, turned out to be a test of the Mustangs engineering. First the brakes were tested in the stop and go traffic. Thank you Ford for making the brakes on my ecoboost better than on my old 13 v-6. When I finally was able to get open road, I was able to attain the less than legal speeds that I mentioned before, and make up some lost time. Speaking of speed, the little I-4 turbo can move, does respond on demand, and felt like it would have kept going way beyond the slightly above legal speed I was asking of it. Again, thank you Ford for making an engine that may not sound as good as the v-8, but can way outperform what I expected of a 4 cylinder engine. Now if your familiar with the eastern seaboard or have looked at a map, you would know that most of my drive was pretty straight. That's not entirely true. I did have to turn many corners and some of them at speed, and again a huge thanks to Ford for doing some awesome engineering, as the car turned flat and handled awesome!
Oh yeah Idid get to visit the family, and we did get to do those family things, like eat and chit chat...but the best part was driving my Mustang. I hope you had fun this past weekend too!
